The milestone TMT 20 attracted an unbelievable 9,094 entries for the Main Event with a buy-in of 9,000 TWD (around $280). This number set a historic record for the series, easily surpassing the guaranteed prize pool. The final prize pool came to 66,786,336 TWD (over 2 million dollars).
The final day saw the last 36 players battling it out, with strong participation from local representatives and a substantial South Korean contingent.
Daeyoung Park entered the final table with a medium stack, while Cheng Jing Lim and Sung Hsiang Lin initially took control of the game. The most thrilling moment was the run by Indian player Manpreet Singh, who survived several all-ins due to some incredible miracle hands, ultimately finishing fourth.
The final heads-up was between Park and Lim. The river, Q h, didn’t complete a flush or a straight for Lim, making Park the third South Korean winner of a TMT Main Event in history.
