Fuchs Reigns Over Poker Elite

The poker elite turned their focus to the festival's most expensive tournament, the €100K Super High Roller. The first day of play drew a more intimate field with 18 entries, and 8 players successfully advanced to the next day. However, several players took advantage of late registration before the start of Day 2. Final numbers for the tournament, including prize payouts, will be confirmed at the beginning of Day 2.

Tom Fuchs emerged as the dominant chipleader after the opening day, becoming the only player to surpass the million-chip mark. American pro Byron Kaverman holds the runner-up position, and Chris Hunichen rounds out the top three.

Also continuing in play are Jamie Dwan and the renowned Fedor Holz, who enters Day 2 with a short stack.
