The most expensive tournament on the Barcelona schedule attracted the world’s poker elite to the luxurious Casino Barcelona. Late registration remained open until the start of the second day, with two unique players taking advantage and seven re-entries recorded, leading to a total of 27 entries.
Given the compact and intimate field, the organizers made a strategic decision—rather than sticking to the three-day plan, the tournament played to completion on Day 2. This meant an extremely long and challenging day for the remaining players, where every mistake could cost hundreds of thousands of euros.
The tournament's total prize pool soared to €2,619,540. However, this massive sum was reserved only for the top four finishers, creating immense pressure during the bubble phase. Notable names like German poker legend Fedor Holz, €25K High Roller winner Klemens Roiter, David Coleman, and Eelis Parssinen had to exit before reaching the paid positions.
Tough luck and the unenviable position of being the bubble boy fell to Italian player Enrico Camosci. With his elimination, the remaining four guaranteed themselves at least €314,000, with American Byron Kaverman collecting this amount for fourth place. British player Jamie Dwan took third place and €472,000 from the Barcelona Super High Roller.
The final heads-up battle came down to Tom Fuchs and renowned Norwegian pro Kayhan Mokri, who had conquered this event in 2023 and 2024. The German player managed to outplay his more experienced opponent, claiming his first EPT trophy and €1,126,540.
