The final heads-up between Farbod Nazari and Lebanese player Chadi Rizk delivered unbelievable drama. Nazari entered the duel with nearly a 2:1 lead and continued to increase the margin.
The potential decision came when Nazari’s T d T c clashed with A c 5 s from Rizk. The Lebanese player survived a critical moment on the board K s J d 2 c T h Q d and doubled his stack thanks to an unlikely straight.
However, the definitive KO came immediately in the next hand. Chadi Rizk went all-in with K h 5 s following the flop 4 d 3 c 2 s, and Nazari swiftly called with 6 h 5 h. The turn 3 s and river K s brought no further surprises, allowing the Iranian player to start celebrating his triumphant victory.
