Study Journey to the Title
The Main Event with a $1,700 buy-in at the Thunder Valley Casino Resort had 599 entries. The total prize pool climbed to $907,485, divided among the top 90 players.
Mulinti's story is a remarkable example of poker progression. Nine months ago, he was a novice player without experience in final tables or ICM strategy. However, by collaborating with coach Florian Pesce (winner of the WSOPC Cherokee Main Event 2025), he eliminated errors in his game and entered the final table as the chip leader.
Amidst strong competition, including poker star JC Tran, Mulinti maintained his dominance in the game. In the final trio with Jonathan Wang and Jesse Stephens, he leveraged his aggressive play to gain a massive lead. After eliminating Wang in 3rd place, the final heads-up lasted only five hands.
In the decisive confrontation, Stephens went all-in with 7 d 3 d after the turn 6 d 4 d 2 c Q c and Mulinti called with Q s 8 c. The river K s did not help Stephens, and Mulinti became the new holder of the WSOPC ring.
