Antonino Karman Takes Control of the Mystery Bounty

One of the most anticipated events at the start of the series was the €550 NLH Mystery Bounty, attracting a massive crowd. A total of 658 entries were recorded, creating a prize pool of €312,550. This sum was split into €148,050 for the top players according to rank and €164,500 for the Bounty rewards.

The winner and proud owner of a golden ring is Hungarian Antonino Karman, who claimed €29,500 for first place. In addition to the cash prize and bounty rewards, he secured a prestigious WSOP Paradise package in the Bahamas worth $5,000.

In the final heads-up, he overcame Greece's Georgios Orestidis. Notably, local player Martin Korman also excelled, finishing in third place.

Hungarian Showdown in the Priciest Event

For high-stakes enthusiasts, the €3,500 NLH High Roller was the centerpiece, being the most expensive Hold'em event of the series. The tournament saw 59 entries, with a total prize pool reaching €184,965, allocated to the top nine players.

The event became a showcase of Hungarian prowess as two players from Hungary made it to the final showdown. Laszlo Molnar emerged as the winner, seizing the coveted ring and a top prize of €58,465, defeating Peter Krajnyak in a direct battle for the title.

Molnar achieved his first WSOPC ring, pushing his career winnings past the $1.5 million mark.

Similarly to the Mystery Bounty, Slovak player Martin Korman performed exceptionally well, finishing fourth and earning €17,580.
