This year’s event made history, with the Main Event recording a total of 3,766 entries, officially making it the second largest in the series' history. The event, with a €550 buy-in, easily surpassed the €1,000,000 guarantee, offering six-figure prizes for the top players. The final three players shared sums exceeding half a million euros.

Armando Miele entered the final day in an advantageous position as the massive chipleader with a stack of over 45 million chips. He turned his dominance into success by eliminating several opponents at the final table.
A pivotal moment arose in the final three (Miele, Choffardet, and Carbone) when they decided on a deal. Each secured €170,000, with play continuing for the prestigious trophy and a €30,000 bonus for the winner (plus €9,000 for the runner-up). Miele ultimately defeated France's Mathieu Choffardet in heads-up play, winning the final hand with T h 4 d against A c 9 c on the board of 8 h J c J h 2 s 4 c.
