The Ten Brave Souls Before the Main Event Finale

Just one day separates the record-setting €1,150 Main Event from crowning a new champion. The tournament, featuring 5,003 entries and a prizepool of €4,852,910, has wrapped up a demanding Day 3. Over more than ten hours of intense play, the field has narrowed from 122 players to the final ten, who bagged their chips for the final day.

The path to the finals was ruthless for many stars and former champions. Notable exits included Steve O'Dwyer (16th place), Dan Wilson (27th place), and Weijie Zheng (13th place).

At the top of the leaderboard is Italy's Danilo Donnini, who dominated the end of the day and carries a massive 46.4 million chips into the finale. Trailing him are Vasyl Palandiuk and Isaac Barker.

Jonas Heuser Grabs Gold After Silver

German player Jonas Heuser concluded his stellar week in Dublin in the best possible way. After finishing a close second in the 6-Max Championship last week, he secured the coveted trophy in the record-setting €550 JP Poker Masters. From a tournament with 911 entries and a €441,835 prizepool, he takes home a career-high of €59,515.

Heuser dominated the final table, which resulted in an ICM deal among the last four players. In heads-up, he quickly took down Samuel Mather, delivering the decisive blow on the board 9 s 7 c 5 c T d J h, where Mather’s J h 5 h found two pairs, but Heuser’s 8 c 5 s completed a winning straight on the river.

Giuseppe Dedoni: From Zero to High Roller Hero

An unbelievable comeback story was crafted by Giuseppe Dedoni in the €3,000 High Roller 8-Max event. After being eliminated on the first day, Dedoni seized the opportunity of late registration at the start of Day 2, re-entering the game with a stack of just 16 big blinds. His heads-up opponent, Estonian Ranno Sootla, also made a comeback, starting the final day as one of the shortest stacks with just 9 big blinds.

Out of 108 entries and a €288,090 prizepool, Dedoni managed to gradually take control, entering heads-up against Sootla with a slight lead. After a deal was made, he completely dominated the playoff, taking home €68,740 and the prestigious trophy for victory.
