With a buy-in of €225 and a guaranteed prizepool of €500,000, the autumn edition of the Main Event at the Dutch Poker Masters attracted a massive turnout of players from across Europe to Rozvadov. The tournament tallied 1,978 entries, though the guarantee was not surpassed.
The final day began with 24 players, including festival organizer Ronald van de Linde, who exited early in 23rd place.
Sitting down at the final table as the chipleader was the Czech representative known by the nickname “StillLosing.” However, it was Ayala Alon who became the dominant force, initially falling to the bottom of the standings during five-handed play, but making a remarkable comeback.
