The final trophy of the Spring Polish Poker Cup was handed over yesterday at Banco Bratislava. The Main Event, spanning the opening days, attracted a whopping 3,354 entries, pushing the total prize pool to €422,604. The finale saw the top 9 players compete, with their progress available for viewing via our livestream.
The final nine took their seats at 2 PM, battling for the title and the top prize of €71,704. The Polish player Kamil Slesicki seemed well-positioned for success, entering the finale with nearly 37 million chips.
Ultimately, it was a pair of Spanish players who dominated the Main Event of the Spring Polish Poker Cup. Raul Perez and Joel De La Torre quickly agreed on a heads-up deal, followed by a play-off for an additional €11,760.
