The final day was notably marked by a strong Dutch presence, with three representatives from the land of tulips among the last nine: Straver, Jans Arends, and Joris Ruijs.

The winner's journey was all the more intriguing as Straver entered the unofficial final table eighth in chip count with just over three million chips, while his fellow countryman Arends was the overwhelming chipleader with over 15 million.
