Kim Enriquez Dominates Record-Breaking Main Event at Okada Manila Millions 2026

Article cover

This year's Main Event rewrote the record books, attracting a massive 2,387 entries. The original guarantee of 6,000,000 PHP was shattered, with the final prizepool reaching 16,300,346 PHP (~$269,360). With a buy-in of 8,000 PHP, the tournament became the largest event of the series at the luxurious Okada Manila resort.

Ending a Seven-Year Drought

Enriquez's path to victory was full of twists and turns. Although the final table began with Joshua Figuerres as chipleader, Enriquez seized the lead right from the first hand after completing a full house against Gutta.

One of the tournament's most memorable moments came during the final three-player showdown. Indian player Nikhil Gutta shocked everyone with the rarest poker combination—a Royal Flush—against Figuerres. This dramatic moment reshuffled the deck, eventually pushing Figuerres to third place.

Before this historic moment, the remaining trio agreed to an ICM deal, dividing most of the prizepool and playing on for the trophy, 300,000 PHP for the winner, and a prestigious APPT Championship package.

In the closing heads-up, Enriquez was trailing 1:4 but managed to erase the deficit and claim the title. For Enriquez, this victory was particularly sweet. A familiar face on the Asian circuit, he had been waiting for another major title since 2019 when he won a tournament in Ho Chi Minh City.
