The event, with a buy-in of €120 + €45 and a guaranteed prize pool of €300,000, drew massive participation, producing a total of 2,025 entries. This turnout exceeded the guarantee. After deducting fees, a total of €280,665 was distributed from the prize pool, with €91,125 allocated to Mystery Bounty.
The final day saw the remaining 23 players, each already assured of a minimum payout of €505. Of course, the main goal was to secure top spots and capture the Mystery Bounty envelopes. The top 10 players received an additional special package worth €3,000 for the September King's Million European Poker Championship. The final day was broadcast live, and the recording is available on YouTube:
Decisive Deal and Italian Heads-Up
When the tournament reached the final four, the players opted for an ICM deal, which provided the greatest assurance to the eventual winner, Marco Di Persio. At that time, he held more than 50% of all chips at the table and secured €14,115 with the possibility of earning more thousands.
The finale culminated in an all-Italian showdown, with Di Persio defeating his compatriot Antonio Fragale. Throughout the final day, Marco Di Persio delivered a dominant performance, eliminating several opponents, including six at the final table, and added bounty rewards totaling €7,155 to his base prize.
