Myles Mullaly Dominates Opening Event at Poker Masters 2026, Claims His First PGT Title

Article cover

The $10,500 NLH Event #1 at PokerGO Studio in the ARIA Resort & Casino drew top poker talent, with a total of 78 entries. The prize pool soared to $780,000, and cash rewards were set aside for the top 12 players.

The tournament's unluckiest player was Adrian Mateos, who ended up as the unfortunate bubble boy when his A-A was toppled by Craig Mason’s 9-9.

The final day of play saw the last six contenders battling it out, led by chipleader Michael Rossitto. Mullaly entered in second place but gradually took control with patient play.

Mullaly entered the final heads-up with a 2:1 chip lead. Justin Zaki delivered a spirited performance, briefly taking the lead with a straight. The decisive moment came in a dramatic final hand. After the turn 8 h 3 s 5 s 7 h, both players chased the flush draw, and Zaki shoved all-in with J h 3 h. Mullaly called with T h 9 h, securing a higher pair on the river T c.

The 24-year-old Mullaly continues his best career year by adding his first PGT victory to his summer WSOP bracelet win.
