The ninth event of the Poker Masters 2026 series at Las Vegas' PokerGO Studio in the ARIA complex attracted a total of 50 entries. Event #9: $26K NLH generated the largest prizepool of the series so far, amounting to $1,250,000.
Cash prizes were reserved for the top 8 contenders. Adrian Mateos, the overall leaderboard leader, was eliminated on the money bubble (9th place), marking an unbelievable fifth bubble elimination during a single festival. Last year's series champion, David Coleman, exited in 8th place just before the end of the opening day.
Seven players returned for the final day, led by Daniel Negreanu. Jesse Lonis, a three-time WSOP bracelet winner, was first to be knocked out, followed by Brandon Wilson, Sean Perry, Matthew Wantman, and Daniyal Gheba, who finished just shy of the heads-up.
The heads-up battle pitted veteran Daniel Negreanu against young talent Nicholas Seward and lasted over two hours. Seward exhibited remarkable skill, including hitting quads of kings on the flop and a full house against a flush.
Now THAT'S a spicy river card! Will this be the end for @RealKidPoker???
