German legend Ole “wizowizo” Schemion, residing in Austria, clinched his third career title at WCOOP. Schemion showcased his prowess in the prestigious WCOOP 38-H: $10,300 NLHE PKO High Roller. In a small yet star-packed field of 35 entries, they vied for a total prize pool of $400,000.
Schemion breezed through the tournament without a hitch and outplayed Portuguese pro Jorge “jorginho88” Abreu in the final heads-up. He claimed $63,719 for first place and collected an additional $76,250 in bounties, totaling a $139,969 win. This is the second-highest payout at WCOOP 2026 so far.
Patrick “pads1161” Leonard Earns His 14th WCOOP Title
Renowned British professional Patrick “pads1161” Leonard once again proved himself one of the deadliest players at WCOOP festivals. In the WCOOP 29-H: $530 NLH Deep Stack event, he faced 194 entries and left them all behind.
Leonard secured the top prize of $19,837 and his 14th career title at WCOOP, extending his remarkable streak of clinching at least one WCOOP title every year since 2021.
Overall, he has reached a tie for second place in the historical rankings, alongside Niklas “Lena900” Astedt, who has already claimed two titles at WCOOP 2026, and Denis “aDrENalin710” Strebkov. Leading the pack is Benny “RunGodlike” Glaser with 16 WCOOP titles.
Patrick Leonard is also a historical leader in the SCOOP series, where he has amassed another 16 titles, making him unrivaled in the combined series.
Jerry “Perrymejsen” Odeen Secures 8th Trophy
Nearly at the same time as Patrick Leonard’s triumph, Sweden witnessed another significant moment. Jerry “Perrymejsen” Odeen dominated the mixed event WCOOP 31-H: $530 8-Game.
Odeen translated his rich experience in mixed games into a victory, earning a reward of $10,891. On the final table, he competed against none other than Patrick Leonard, who took 3rd place in this event.
This marked Jerry Odeen's 8th career title at WCOOP.
