The Main Event of the Slovak Poker Championship saw impressive numbers. Throughout the week, players registered for the event a total of 1,467 times, surpassing the set guarantee. The prizepool climbed to an impressive €216,552, and yesterday, 131 players advanced to Day 2, earning a guaranteed cash prize.
During the festival, players could take advantage of qualification bonuses, with 14 players successfully claiming them. Twelve of them received a €1,000 bonus, while Andrej Desset and Yakov Stalkal managed to qualify three times, securing a €3,000 reward.
Day 2 kicked off yesterday at 16:00, with each participant guaranteed a €400 prize. The objective of the second day was to narrow the field down to the final nine players, who will face off in today's grand finale. The spectacular conclusion will be streamed live from 16:30, where we will discover the third champion of the Slovak Poker Championship. The winner will also secure a €30,782 prize, including a ticket to the upcoming Swedish Poker Championship.

Exciting news for local poker fans: Slovak representative Pavel Chalupka will be among the final nine, bringing a stack of 3,700,000 chips into the finale, placing him in seventh position. The final lineup will be led by Sweden's Max Isac Nilsson, holding 18.5 million chips.
