This year marked the sixth edition of the popular The Festival, which brought a host of thrilling games. The Festival ranks among the top tournament series in Europe, successfully kicking off the 2026 season. The Main Event surely attracted the most attention. It saw a competitive field with 505 entries, pushing the prize pool up to €239,875. The initial days advanced a total of 64 players to Day 2, each guaranteed at least €1,050. A top prize of €45,000 awaited the winner, contended for in Sunday's final. Day 2 revealed the final nine, who battled for the prestigious title yesterday.
The final day showcased phenomenal poker, culminating in a heads-up deal between Zbigniew Wieczorek and Petros Theodosiou. In the subsequent play for €7,340, the Cypriot emerged victorious, taking home the title and €39,480. Congratulations!
