Historic Debut of WSOP Europe in Prague

The absolute highlight of the month is the continuation of WSOP Europe, held for the first time in Prague, relocated from Rozvadov in the Czech Republic. The festival, running from March 31 to April 12 at King's Casino in the Hilton Prague, offers a battle for 15 gold bracelets in total.

The main attraction is the Main Event with a massive €10,000,000 guarantee, taking place from April 3 to 10. In addition, attention will focus on the European Circuit Championship with a €1,500,000 guarantee and various high-stakes tournaments.

The first half of April also sees the culmination of the legendary Irish Poker Open in Dublin (March 26 – April 6). This festival, renowned for its unique atmosphere at “The Craic Den,” offers a Main Event with a €2,500,000 guarantee, last year resulting in a record-breaking prizepool exceeding €4.4 million.

The end of the month will be marked by luxury in the Principality of Monaco. From April 30 to May 10, EPT Monte Carlo celebrates its 21st anniversary in Sporting Monte Carlo. The program kicks off with PS Open events and the prestigious €100K Super High Roller.

Florida Showdown and Elite in Las Vegas

In the United States, attention focuses mainly on two events. In Florida, the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown runs from April 8 to 28. This massive festival concludes with the Championship event, featuring a $3,500 buy-in and a $3,000,000 guarantee, a figure that has been consistently surpassed in previous editions.

For high-stakes action fans, the U.S. Poker Open returns to Las Vegas after a year. From April 10 to 23, PokerGO Studio hosts 10 tournaments with buy-ins from $5,100 to the final $25,200 No-Limit Hold’em. The series is a key stop on the PokerGO Tour, where players compete for the prestigious Golden Eagle trophy and points for the annual PGT leaderboard.

North America's program is complemented by a rich lineup of WSOP Circuit stops:

  • Playground, Kahnawake, Canada: Festival culmination with a CAD 2.5 million guarantee in the Main Event (until April 7).

  • Grand Victoria Casino, Elgin, USA: 18 ring events from April 2 to 13. The Main Event offers a $750,000 guarantee.

Asian Dragons and the Return of Aussie Millions

Asia experiences a packed calendar in April. Following the Triton Super High Roller Series in Jeju, South Korea, the Red Dragon Poker Tour (RDPT) takes center stage. From April 10 to 21, battles for the iconic red dragon trophies and a guaranteed 1.8 billion KRW in the Main Event will take place at the luxurious LeS A Casino.

Taipei will host APT Taipei 2026 in the modern Asia Poker Arena & Red Space. From April 22 to May 3, the Asian Poker Tour offers more than 100 tournaments, highlighted by a Main Event with a TWD 70,000,000 guarantee.

The most anticipated event in the Southern Hemisphere is the historic return of Aussie Millions to Melbourne. After a lengthy break, from April 24 to May 10, Crown Melbourne will host 18 championship events. The program opens with the Opening Event, featuring a AUD 1,000,000 guarantee, with an estimated total prizepool reaching AUD 14,000,000.
