PokerStars WCOOP 2026 Full Schedule: 350 Tournaments and 40 Million Dollars Guaranteed

When PokerStars introduced the World Championship of Online Poker in 2002, the idea of crowning a poker world champion over the internet was still relatively new. Twenty-five editions later, WCOOP has become one of the most prestigious festivals on the online calendar.

The series will celebrate its landmark anniversary from September 6 to 30, offering 350 individual tournaments across 121 numbered events. At least 40.000.000$ will be distributed, with most events available at Low, Medium and High buy-in levels.

Entries begin at just 5.50$, while the most expensive tournament on the schedule is a 25.000$ NLHE Super High Roller. Every winner will have an official WCOOP trophy shipped to their home.

Six Main Events Guarantee 6.500.000$

The festival’s centrepieces will once again be the six NLHE and PLO Main Events. Each discipline comes with Low, Medium and High editions, giving players three different routes towards one of the biggest titles in online poker.

All three NLHE Main Events begin on September 27, with combined guarantees of 5.750.000$. The PLO Main Events follow on September 28, adding another 750.000$.

The 10.300$ NLHE Main Event High will carry the largest guarantee at 2.500.000$. Its champion will join a list of former winners that includes JC Tran, Yevgeniy Timoshenko and Fedor Holz.

Ten World Championship Titles Across Different Disciplines

WCOOP has traditionally stood apart from many competing online series through the variety of games on its schedule. The 2026 edition continues that tradition with ten designated World Championship tournaments.

Players can chase world titles in 6-Max NLHE, HORSE, Razz, Progressive Knockout, Triple Draw, PLO8 and 8-Game. A dedicated Women’s World Championship also returns, while the High editions of the NLHE and PLO Main Events complete the ten-event lineup.

The 20th Anniversary Sunday Million Joins the Festival

The opening day will also feature the final phase of the 20th Anniversary Sunday Million. The 109$ phased Progressive KO tournament guarantees 5.000.000$, making it one of the biggest events connected to the WCOOP schedule.

Players can reach the final phase through daily 109$ heats running until September 6.

Extra Value Through Leaderboards and Promotions

Four leaderboards will run throughout the series, covering the Low, Medium, High and overall Player of the Series races. A further 100.000$ will be distributed among the leading performers.

Qualification begins at 0.55$ through traditional satellites. Special WCOOP Spin & Go qualifiers start at 0.75$, while Power Path Express will award ticket bundles and Main Event entries.

The returning WCOOP Lucky Dip promotion is expected to distribute 500.000$ in tournament tickets, with Power Path Express adding more than 175.000$ in ticket bundles and entries.

WCOOP Games Turn One Cent Into a Shot at Main Event Glory

Running alongside the main festival will be the WCOOP Games, a community competition giving players the chance to reach selected 109$ WCOOP events from an investment of just 0.01$. Four teams will be led by PokerStars ambassadors Benjamin “Spraggy” Spragg, Marle “MarlzTV” Spragg, Sebastian “peace&loove” Huber and Brazilian commentators Del & Phil. Players must choose which community they want to represent and win that ambassador’s Centroll, with qualifying tournaments scheduled for August 23, August 30 and September 6.

Successful qualifiers will represent their teams in a series of last-longer Face-Offs played inside regular WCOOP tournaments. The winning communities will receive dedicated freerolls worth up to 7.000$, while every member of the overall winning team will collect a 1.000$ WCOOP Main Event ticket. The promotion therefore gives lower-stakes players an unusual opportunity to turn a one-cent entry into a place on the biggest stage of the festival while competing on behalf of their favourite PokerStars community.
