The $1,000 buy-in APC Main Event was the highlight of the entire 11-day festival. The tournament's debut attracted a total of 256 entries, surpassing the original $200,000 guarantee, and the prizepool climbed to $215,040.
The final day began with 39 players vying for the top spot, promising a marathon session for the eventual winner. The heads-up match between Aidan Jacobs and Anuj Sareen delivered incredible drama.
Jacobs (a WSOP bracelet winner from 2026) started with more than a 2:1 chip lead, but Sareen briefly took charge, thanks to hitting quadruple threes. Jacobs' patience paid off, however. The key turnaround occurred in a preflop all-in when Jacobs' A c J s hit two higher pairs against A d 6 s, grabbing an enormous 18:1 lead.
Sareen showcased an impressive comeback by doubling his stack three times. In the final hand of the tournament, Sareen went all-in with A h 2 d on a board of A c K s Q h 6 s A s, but Jacobs revealed 9 s 7 s, ending the final day after more than 17 hours and claiming the championship title.
