The poker world witnessed a heated exchange on social media as Ethan “Rampage” Yau, a popular vlogger and player, lost his patience with veteran Allen “Chainsaw” Kessler. What began as playful banter about poker skills quickly turned into personal animosity and heads-up challenges.

It all started with a bold statement from Ethan Yau on X. Rampage, who recently defeated Adrian Mateos in a heads-up to claim his second WSOP bracelet, responded to his YouTube critics.

Challenge of 100,000 Hands and Harsh Insults

Rampage quickly fired back, offering Kessler a direct showdown. He proposed a heads-up No-Limit Hold'em match with $100/$200 blinds or higher, spanning 100,000 hands. However, Kessler declined the Hold'em offer since he specializes in mixed games, suggesting other top players to face Ethan instead. This was the last straw for Yau.

Kessler attempted to defuse the situation, arguing that he simply wanted to play his games (mixed games) and that Rampage wouldn’t play his game.

The conflict turned personal despite both players enjoying success at WSOP 2026 this summer, which should have them in a positive mood. Rampage secured his second bracelet and performed well in high-stakes cash games.

Allen Kessler, on the other hand, achieved third and fourth places in bracelet events, and although he’s still waiting for his first bracelet, he proved once again that he remains a formidable force in mixed games.

It's almost certain we won't see these two facing off at a heads-up table, but their spat on X will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the standout moments of this season.
