The NOIR Poker Series 2026 reached its climax with the prestigious $5,500 Main Event, attracting a total of 769 entries. This massive turnout surpassed the original $3 million guarantee, generating a prize pool of $3,608,148. The winner was set to walk away with a prize exceeding half a million dollars.
The final day saw the last 13 players compete on a challenging path to the top. The final table alone lasted approximately ten hours, culminating in a two-hour heads-up battle where Bedir faced Konstantin Voronin. “It's tough playing from start to finish every day. It requires the same level of patience, but the feeling after winning is really great,” Bedir commented, considering poker both his job and hobby.
Interestingly, Bedir credits his strategic thinking to bridge, which he calls a “sport for the mind,” and whose principles he successfully applies to poker. Following a second-place finish in the April High Roller at the same casino, he managed to step onto the highest podium this time, marking his best result of the year.
