Slovak Poker Open: Main Event Draws 1,211 Entries, €40,585 Awaits the Winner

Today we will crown the fourth champion of the Slovak Poker Open Main Event. Another fantastic event from Banco Bratislava is nearing its conclusion. The finale is just around the corner, featuring 16 finalists. They will battle for the main prize of €40,585 in the spotlight of our cameras. Who will emerge as the champion?

The main event's guarantee was €300,000, holding firm until the final moments. However, the total of 1,211 entries narrowly surpassed it. A total of 113 players made it through the opening days, with seven of them earning a €1,000 qualifying bonus for double qualification, and one player receiving a €3,000 bonus for triple qualification.

Day 2 was tasked with trimming the field to the final sixteen, who will vie for the biggest prizes. After hours of intense poker, we met the finalists. The chipleader for the final day will be Austrian player Christoph Hillinger with a stack of 7.6 million chips. Following him is Hungarian representative Norbert Kovács, with Denis Dox in third place.

The final day starts at 4:00 PM. Each participant is guaranteed €2,275, but a completely different sum awaits the winner. The future champion of the Slovak Poker Open Main Event will take home €40,585.
