This summer, the SpadePoker Challenger penned the first chapter of its story. Fortunately for the poker community, they won't have to wait long for its sequel. The new series, a collaboration between SpadePoker and Banco Bratislava, returns with its second edition—SpadePoker Challenger Vol. 2—taking place on September 25th and 26th, 2026, at the new SpadePoker Studio in Banco Bratislava. Here, the second winner of the unique trophy will be crowned.
Two Days, €550 Buy-in, and a Battle for €20,000
The second edition maintains the format that captivated players at its premiere. It will be a two-day High Roller with a €550 buy-in, providing players with an initial stack of 100,000 chips and a comfortable structure featuring 30-minute levels. Registration will remain open until the end of the eighth level, while prize money awaits the top 12.5% of total entries.
Day one will gradually whittle down the player field to the finalists, who will then return to the SpadePoker Studio. Here, under the watchful eyes of television cameras, the title, cash prizes, and second trophy in the tournament's history will be decided. Viewers can once again experience the decisive battles through a livestream.
The Premiere Surpassed Its Guarantee
The first SpadePoker Challenger proved that this new High Roller has carved out its own niche in the calendar. With a total of 41 entries, the original guarantee was exceeded. Nine players from six countries advanced to the final day, with cash rewards awaiting only the top six.
Polish player Radoslaw Jan Wielewicki emerged as the first-ever champion. He defeated Slovak representative Jakub Boško in the heads-up, taking home the inaugural trophy and €6,770. Boško claimed €4,300 for second place, while Austrian Josef Ahmed earned €2,950 for third.
