Players from all over Europe have gathered at King’s Resort, including those from more distant countries. The Festival has never been just about classic poker. Among the formats intrinsic to this series is the Blackjack Tournament. This event brought one of the festival's most entertaining stories. With a buy-in of €125, it attracted 81 players and easily surpassed its €5,000 guarantee. Last year's champion Barrie Dear had a strong start but couldn't defend his title this time. The main story was crafted by series founder Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk.
