New Triton One Series Record in Opening Event
The festival's opening event, Event #1: $3,000 QQPK Genesis, caused a sensation by attracting a massive 1,236 entries, which is 51 more than last year in this tournament. This set a new record for the Triton One series in terms of player field size. The total prize pool reached an astonishing $3,311,244 due to overwhelming interest.
Champion Nguyen Huu Dung from Vietnam emerged victorious after a three-day battle. Entering the final day as the chipleader, he maintained his position till the end, earning $586,000 and a trophy, which he dedicated to his son's birthday.
The final table was extraordinary, coinciding with International Women's Day, featuring two female players – Chunnuan Xu (5th place) and Nguyen Thi Xoa (7th place).

Historic Female Heads-Up in Mystery Bounty
The third event of the series, the popular $5,000 Mystery Bounty, delivered one of the most intriguing stories in Triton's history. The tournament, which recorded 836 entries and a prize pool of $3,800,456, was dominated by Japan's Yuna Kanaizumi, who took home $395,000 for first place (excluding bounty rewards). Her triumph was even more special as Jeju marked her first appearance in this prestigious series.
Kanaizumi delivered an incredible final sprint. Though she started the final table with just 14 big blinds, she dominated over the next four hours, eliminating five opponents.
This tournament made Triton history by featuring, for the first time in an open event, two women facing off in the final heads-up. Kanaizumi's opponent was Nguyen Thi Xoa, who confirmed her fantastic form after securing the seventh place in the QQPK Genesis, though she narrowly missed the victory again.
