Alisson Piekazewicz and His 'Sun Run'
Brazilian Alisson Piekazewicz delivered one of the smoothest paths to a title in series history during the $40,000 Mystery Bounty. Piekazewicz eliminated an astounding 13 opponents on the final day, earning $709,000 plus an additional $1,200,000 in bounty rewards.
The highlight of his domination came when he took out three players at once. With pocket Aces, he bested Du Qiao, Jun Obara, and Anatoly Zlotnikov in a single hand, collecting three bounty chips, each worth at least $40,000.
In heads-up play, he also outmatched Seth Davies, as his pocket deuces held up in the final flip against Davies’ A-K. Post-tournament, Piekazewicz admitted he had never experienced a tournament where nearly every decision seemed correct.

Life-Changing Success for Chen Mingcong
Event #3: $30,000 NLH 8-Handed attracted a field of 172 entries, birthing a new Chinese star. Only 32 years old, Chen Mingcong turned his third appearance on the Triton circuit into a debut title and a $1,143,000 reward.
Though Chen started the final table as the chipleader, he initially faltered, dropping to a short stack after losing several key hands.
