Punnat Punsri's Sixth Title
Punnat Punsri once again showcased his phenomenal form, winning Event #13, a mix of the two most popular poker disciplines, NLH and PLO. The tournament, with a $30,000 buy-in, attracted 60 entries, creating a prize pool of $1.8 million. For Punsri, this format was special as he has been playing both disciplines since his college days.
Punsri entered the final day with the third-largest stack and had to battle through a challenging final table featuring names like Dan Dvoress and Matthias Eibinger. In the concluding heads-up match, he faced China's Zhou Quan, starting with a commanding 5:1 lead.
The decisive moment came in NLH when Punsri's combination of 5 h 3 h completed a straight on a dramatic board of A d K d 2 c 4 h 3 s, defeating Quan's A c J s.
With this victory, Punsri secured a $504,000 win, placing him second on the Triton historical leaderboard with six titles, right behind the legendary Jason Koon, who has twelve titles.

Martirosian's "Clean Sweep" at the Final Table
Russian professional Artur Martirosian, the reigning Ivan Leow Player of the Year, delivered an exceptional performance in Event #15, seen rarely in the Mystery Bounty format. In the tournament with 73 entries and a total prize pool of $3.65 million (including bounties), Martirosian cleaned the final table, single-handedly eliminating all six opponents.
Despite starting the finale with the second smallest stack, he became unstoppable after an early double-up through Jason Koon. Shortly after, he knocked out both David Wang in seventh and Cesar Garcia in sixth when his J s J h made a straight on the board of T c 7 c 4 d followed by the 8 d.
A quirky note from the tournament was Cesar Garcia's results, as he secured the second highest total payout despite a sixth-place finish, thanks to two top bounty envelopes worth $300,000 and $200,000.
Martirosian's momentum continued, taking down Koon, Chidwick, and Davies. He then beat Matthias Eibinger in heads-up, adding $550,000 in bounty rewards to his $494,000 base prize.
After claiming his fourth career Triton title, Martirosian humorously noted that after two weeks of unfavorable NLH cards, he finally felt "free" in Omaha.
