Dan Dvoress Triumphs in Rematch Against Xuan Liu
The sixth tournament of the festival with a $30,000 buy-in attracted a total of 135 entries. Players generated a prize pool of $4,050,000, with financial rewards distributed among the top 23 players, leaving nearly a million for the winner.
The tournament became a dominant affair for Canadian professional Dan Dvoress. Continuing his incredible form from the May event in Montenegro, Dvoress blazed through the final day.
In the concluding heads-up, he faced fellow Canadian Xuan Liu. This marked the first occurrence in Triton's history where the same two players met in heads-up for a title twice. Liu had previously bested Dvoress in Montenegro in 2025, becoming Triton's first female champion.
This time, Dvoress held his dominant lead. In the first hand of heads-up, he went all-in with 3 s 3 c. Liu called with K h Q s, and the board 2 c 4 d J h A s 5 h completed Dvoress' straight.

With seven titles, Dvoress now shares second place in the historical rankings with Matthias Eibinger and fellow Canadian Michael Watson. He also increased his lead in the Ivan Leow Player of the Year standings.

Kayhan Mokri Leads Final 33
The buy-in rose again for the popular NLH Mystery Bounty event with an entry fee of $40,000. The event saw 133 entries, generating a prize pool of $2,660,000, with the same amount hidden in the Mystery Bounty envelopes. The payouts will go to the top 23 players, with the champion set to receive $619,000, plus any bounties collected.
After the first day, 33 players advanced to the final. Norwegian Kayhan Mokri secured the chipleader position, holding a slight advantage over Alex Anton and Jamil Wakil.
The final day will also see the likes of star Phil Ivey, fresh event #5 champion Alex Boika, Punnat Punsri, Christoph Vogelsang, and Seth Davies compete. Conversely, $30K event winner Dan Dvoress was eliminated on the first day when his A h A d fell to China's Chen Mingcong's K h K d, hitting a set on the flop.
