Watson's Magical Seventh
Canadian pro Mike Watson demonstrated his elite skills by lifting his second trophy in just four days. After winning the $30K NLH Turbo (Event #7), he remained unbeatable in Event #11: $50K NLH Bounty Quattro. For the 42-year-old Watson, this marks his seventh Triton title, placing him second in the all-time rankings behind Jason Koon, who holds 12 titles.
The tournament attracted just 32 entries, creating a $1,600,000 prizepool. Despite the smaller field, it was packed with talent. Watson faced off against big names like Jason Koon and Alex Foxen. In a swift heads-up, he overcame Swiss talent Linus Loeliger when his A d T h held up against Loeliger's K s 5 s.
Watson admitted that winning turbo tournaments involves a bit of luck with all-ins, but his dedication is unwavering. “I'm here to play poker; it's a work trip. Being away from family, I focus on winning and the prize money,” he said after bagging $381,000 plus an additional $240,000 in bounties.

Star-Studded $3.5 Million Main Event Finale
The festival's most anticipated moment is upon us. After a grueling second day, the $100K Main Event has narrowed down to a final table of nine players, all vying for the prestigious title and a jaw-dropping $3,522,000 prize. With 159 entries, the prizepool has soared to an impressive $15,900,000, and five players will walk away with seven-figure sums.
Heading the final table is Season 3 Player of the Year Danny Tang, holding a stack of 56 big blinds. Close behind is German pro Leon Sturm, with 54 blinds. Sturm is one of two German-speaking representatives thriving in Montenegro, the other being Austria's Klemens Roiter, who sits in fourth place.
The road to the final table was relentless. The bubble burst with the elimination of Thomas Boivin (28th place), knocked out by Isaac Haxton. Other hopefuls like Dan Dvoress (11th place), Punnat Punsri (15th place), and the aforementioned Isaac Haxton (16th place) were eliminated before the final.
