First Trophy for Tsuf Saltsberg

The €3,000 PLO High Roller guaranteed a total prize pool of €500,000 and saw 156 entries. Twenty-eight players advanced to the final day from day one, with another 60 entries through late registration at the start of day two. The top 22 players received financial rewards.

Israeli professional Tsuf Saltsberg, who has been specializing in Omaha for ten years, showcased a patient and tactical game focused on prize jumps at the final table. In the closing heads-up, he faced Slovak chipleader Oliver Tot, managing to erase a more than fourfold deficit.

The players eventually agreed to an ICM deal. Slovak Oliver Tot secured a larger financial reward of €96,800 due to his lead, while Tsuf Saltsberg took €87,000. They also opted to play the final flip blind for the King's Royal Scepter trophy.

In this hand, Saltsberg with K d K c T c 7 h hit a set of kings on the flop, defeating Tot's J s J h 7 s 6 h combination, earning his first major live tournament trophy.

Vasilis Nikolas Triumphs and Axel Bayout Takes €150,000 Envelope

The massive €1,000 Mystery Bounty tournament registered a total of 1,863 entries across eight starting flights. The prize pool soared to €1,583,550, with €1,024,650 comprising the main prize pool and €558,900 making up the bounty pool.

The highlight of the tournament was the opening of envelopes with rewards during day two. French pro Axel Bayout hit the jackpot by picking the top bounty of €150,000. Bayout continued his run to the final table, finishing in 4th place for €89,280 and earning a total of €242,880 (including bounties), making him the event's top earner.

In the final four, an ICM deal was reached, spurred by the fact that a €30,000 envelope was still unclaimed. The heads-up saw Swedish Vasilis Nikolas and Italian Loris Biagio Greco squaring off, with the decision coming in just two hands.

Nikolas went all-in with A s K h and Greco called with 8 h 8 c. The board 6 h Q s Q c A d 6 d sealed the title for Nikolas, who claimed a trophy and €123,850 prize money, plus €42,900 in bounties, having also drawn the last €30,000 envelope.
