Ukrainian Player Divino Triumphs in Benelux Classics Main Event

Ukrainian player known by the nickname Divino dominated the final table of the June Benelux Classics Main Event at King's Resort in Rozvadov. After a strategic deal in the last three and a victorious heads-up against German Waldemar Tabert, he walked away with a total win of $35,800.

The Benelux Classics Main Event, with a friendly buy-in of €175, attracted a total of 1,250 entries. Despite the massive turnout, the guaranteed prize pool of €300,000 wasn't fully reached, allowing players to benefit from the casino's overlay.

The final day started with the last 24 players, with Divino leading as the chipleader, a position he maintained until the very end.

A critical moment came with the deal in the last three, after which they played for the remaining 10% of the prize pool and the trophy. In the concluding heads-up, Divino confirmed his dominance, and in the final hand, he called Tabert's bluff with two pairs on the flop. On the turn, Divino completed a full house, sealing his victory.
