The Vamos Poker Tour Slovakia has crafted a captivating poker narrative over the past few days. The festival, boasting a total guarantee of €400,000, culminated in the Main Event's final day, which attracted 660 entries across all flights, creating an enticing prize pool with 86 payouts.
The final day began with 16 players left, with Egyptian chipleader Tamer Mohamed Abdelzaher Ibrahim holding the best starting position. However, the final day unfolded into a completely different story, shaped by Romanian player Traian Niko Gemanariu.
You can relive the final day's action in the live stream recording:
Traian Niko Gemanariu entered the final day in second place with a stack of 4,625,000. Throughout the crucial phase of the tournament, he proved to be one of the most formidable players. His last opponent was a Chinese player going by the name SPYxxx, who had been a standout contender since the early flights. According to Vamos Poker Tour, the heads-up stretched into a lengthy duel that determined both the title and the largest payday of the festival.
