WCOOP 2026: Felipe Boianovsky Makes History in $10K Main Event

The most anticipated tournament of the festival was WCOOP 108-H: $10,300 NLHE Main Event (World Championship). The event attracted a total of 289 entries, pushing the prizepool to $2,890,000.

Nine players advanced to the final table on the concluding day. Brazilian Felipe “lipe piv” Boianovsky displayed unprecedented dominance by eliminating all remaining opponents from the final seven players. In the heads-up finale, he defeated Canadian Santiago “13santoy13” Plante and claimed the top prize of $551,632.

With this triumph, Boianovsky made online poker history. Having won the $10K Main Event at SCOOP 2023, pocketing $1,036,199, he now stands as the first-ever player to win $10K Main Event titles at both SCOOP and WCOOP.

The medium edition WCOOP 108-M: $1,050 NLHE Main Event saw a massive 2,310 entries and a total prizepool of $2,310,000.

The champion emerged in Argentine star Alejandro “Papo MC” Lococo. The popular streamer showcased aggressive and dominant play throughout the four-hour live-streamed final table on his Twitch channel.

Entering heads-up with a 2:1 chip lead against Irish player Goodarla, Lococo hit trips on the final hand, securing victory and a $343,242 payday — marking the greatest online success of his career.

The lowest-priced edition, WCOOP 108-L: $109 Main Event, was conquered by Ukrainian player ihor888888. Thanks to an enormous turnout of 14,533 entries, he claimed a prize of $172,022 from a total prizepool of $1,453,300.

The Festival’s Finale Belonged to Poker Stars

The final days of WCOOP 2026 witnessed additional milestones by global poker luminaries. The mysterious Russian living in Thailand, known as “FAL1st,” captured his 13th career WCOOP title (second in 2026).

This time, he dominated the WCOOP 118-H: $530 PL Badugi tournament, outshining 49 entries and taking home $9,363. FAL1st boasts 13 SCOOP titles as well and ranks among the most successful in both festivals.

Simultaneously, András “probirs” Németh claimed his second WCOOP 2026 title. The Hungarian PLO specialist triumphed in the WCOOP 118-M: $1,050 PLO Main Event, beating Finnish player Casimir “Ceis25” Seire in heads-up and securing $58,923.

This marked Németh’s ninth WCOOP title, with seven in Omaha variants. It was also his second Main Event victory at WCOOP, having netted $308,556 from the $10K edition in 2021.

The festival's most expensive tournament, WCOOP 114-H: $25,000 Super High Roller, went to Alexandros “Pwndidi” Theologis, who defeated Swiss Linus “LLinusLLove” Loeliger in the heads-up. The Greek player triumphed over a select field of 17 entries, pocketing $216,504 and claiming his second career WCOOP title.
