WSOP 2026: Christopher Alcindor Claims His First Bracelet in 'Big O' (Event #22)

The $1,500 Big O (Five Card PLO Hi-Lo 8 or Better) tournament attracted 2,150 entries. Thanks to tremendous interest from the community, the prize pool rose to an impressive $2,763,538. The final day kicked off with the last 29 players, with only four previous bracelet holders among them, heightening the anticipation of crowning a new champion.

The decisive battle for the title unfolded between Alcindor and American James Roullier. The heads-up was brief, sealed by Alcindor's victory in the first major confrontation.

On the flop J s J h 9 h, both players went all-in, with Alcindor holding trips with J c 8 d 7 d 5 s 4 d. Roullier, with A h Q c T d 7 c 2 h, needed to complete a flush draw to survive, but the turn 3 s and river 9 s did not help.

Christopher Alcindor emerged as the new champion, doubling his career winnings in just one tournament.
