American poker player Sterling Lopez emerged as the champion of Event #92: $3K T.O.R.S.E., defeating the stellar Jesse Lonis in the final heads-up showdown. For Lopez, it's a remarkable achievement, having finished sixth in this event last year. This time, he completed his journey by securing his first gold bracelet and a $247,842 reward.

Event #92: $3K T.O.R.S.E. (an acronym for formats 2-7 Triple Draw, Omaha Hi-Lo, Razz, Stud, and Stud Hi-Lo) attracted a total of 457 entries. Thanks to the strong turnout, the prizepool soared to $1,220,190, with payouts for the top 69 players.

The final table was a showcase of seasoned professionals. Among the finalists were bracelet holders like David Bach, Qinghai Pan, and Alex Livingston. The eventual winner, Lopez, was the only finalist without a WSOP title.
