WSOP 2026: Josh Reichard Finally Claims His First Gold Bracelet (Event #62)

Article cover

The third and final day of Event #62: $2,500 NLH began with the last 34 players from a field of 1,736 entries. They were competing for more than half a million from the $3,864,825 prizepool, with most players eyeing their first bracelet.

Josh Reichard, with 17 WSOPC rings under his belt, had often been close to a title, yet the gold bracelet had remained elusive. Determined to change that, he was one of the most active players from the start.

The road to the title wasn’t easy, and Reichard faced experienced opponents at the final table. In the concluding heads-up, he was up against Caleb Harris, who entered the duel with almost a 2:1 chip lead. However, it took Reichard just half an hour to tilt the scales in his favor.

In the tournament’s decisive hand, Harris opted for an aggressive play, going all-in on the board 9 d 5 h 8 c J d T c. Reichard quickly called with his Q s T d combination, which had already formed a straight on the turn. Harris's bluff with A d 2 d failed, sealing the tournament’s outcome.

This victory holds special significance for Reichard, definitively placing him among the elite of the poker world.
