WSOP 2026: Matthew Moss Dominates Massive Deepstack (Event #43)

British poker pro Matthew Moss has become the latest champion at WSOP 2026. In the $800 Deepstack, he claimed his first gold bracelet and a prize of $318,556.

The $800 8-Handed Deepstack NLH tournament drew a total of 3,903 entries, creating a prize pool of $2,732,100.

In the final, the only bracelet holder was Pengfei Wang, and with his early exit, the path was clear for a new victor. Matthew Moss ultimately joined the elite club of WSOP champions.

In heads-up play, he outlasted the formidable American Darryl Ronconi, who had to settle for second place at the WSOP for the third time in his career.
