WSOP 2026: Michelle Chin Claims Her First Gold in Triple Draw (Event #58)

Article cover

Event #58: $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw attracted a total of 657 entries, creating a prizepool of $872,167. The final day saw 12 remaining players, including seven bracelet holders. However, experience was no match for Michelle Chin’s outstanding performance, as she captured her first WSOP bracelet.

The decisive battle for the title unfolded between Michelle Chin and two-time WSOP champion Daniel Strelitz. Although Strelitz held the lead at the start of heads-up play, Chin managed to overturn the odds with patient strategy.

In the final hand, Strelitz was all-in before the first draw. While Chin held steady in the last two rounds with a made hand of 8-7-5-4-2, Strelitz attempted to improve his hand. However, in his last draw, he picked up two threes alongside his 8-7-4, which wasn't enough to defeat the new champion.
