WSOP 2026: Nick Schulman Claims Title for the Fourth Consecutive Year – Secures Eighth Bracelet in H.O.R.S.E. (Event #37)

Event #37: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. featured 780 players, creating a prize pool of $1,035,450. The winner was awarded not only the gold trophy but also $183,366.

The best of the tournament, which includes five different poker disciplines, was Hall of Fame member Nick Schulman, who continues his winning streak. Since 2023, he has gained five bracelets, celebrating at least one victory each year.

Schulman entered the final heads-up against Canadian Clayton Mozdzen with a substantial lead. Despite this, the duel lasted nearly 90 minutes, with Mozdzen fighting tenaciously to stay in the game.

The decisive hand occurred during the Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo discipline. Mozdzen held a set with 2 h 2 c 2 d 6 s K h 8 d A c and attempted a double-up. However, Schulman, with 7 s 9 c 9 s A s 4 h Q s 3 s, hit a winning flush on the final card, sealing the tournament victory.
