Article cover

Event #77: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball attracted a total of 508 entries, creating a prizepool of $1,130,300.

The final day was a showcase of experienced mixed game specialists. The lineup included bracelet holders like Eli Elezra, Brian Yoon, and Andrew Kelsall, as well as the popular Allen “Chainsaw” Kessler. Kessler, who has long awaited his first bracelet, once again fell just short, finishing in 4th place.

The showdown between Stacey and Danny Tang lasted about an hour. Although Tang briefly took the lead, Stacey's patient play regained control, gradually reducing his opponent to a critical short stack.

The event culminated in A-5 Triple Draw. Tang found himself all-in in the tournament's final hand. After three draws, Stacey revealed K-8-4-3-A, which was enough to beat Tang's 7-6-5-A-A, as Tang unfortunately paired his ace on the last card.
