Ahead of the final day, he completed an hour-long coaching session with the star Kristen Foxen, which he credited for helping him maintain focus and respond aptly to the table's dynamics.
In the final heads-up, Chun defeated Palestinian representative Jalil Houssain. In the last hand of the tournament, Chun's Q h 3 h bested Houssain's K h 7 h on a board of 3 c 5 h T d A s 8 h.
