The World Series of Poker Circuit continues its international expansion. Following record-breaking tournaments in Canada and the United States, the series will make its debut in Spain. The inaugural stop will take place at Casino Gran Vía, located in the heart of Madrid.
The eleven-day festival will run from October 23 to November 2, 2026. Players will compete for eleven WSOP Circuit gold rings, with buy-ins ranging from €300 to €2,500. The highlight of the festival will be the €1,500 Main Event, occurring from October 28 to November 1, featuring four starting flights.
All qualifiers will converge in Day 2, and the first-ever WSOP Circuit Main Event champion on Spanish soil will be crowned on November 1. Alongside the title and main cash prize, the winner will vie for one of the most iconic symbols in tournament poker – the WSOP Circuit gold ring.

From Mini Main Event to High Roller
The festival will kick off with the €300 Mini Main Event, offering four starting flights over the first two days. Players with smaller bankrolls will have another significant opportunity in the €300 Colossus tournament, which features six starting flights spread throughout the festival.
The schedule also caters to bounty tournament enthusiasts. The €550 Mystery Bounty starts on October 25 and offers three chances to advance to the final day. The most expensive event on this stop will be the €2,500 High Roller, beginning on October 27. The final stages of the program include Deepstack for €1,000, Omaha for €550, Superstack for €400, and Bigstack for €350.

WSOP Circuit Continues International Expansion
The Madrid debut comes after a highly successful phase for the brand. The Main Event in Austin, Texas recently set a new record for the classic WSOP Circuit with 2,090 entries. Meanwhile, the historical debut of the WSOP Super Circuit in Canada attracted 2,844 entries in the Main Event, creating a prize pool exceeding 13 million Canadian dollars.

Now, one of the largest European poker markets will have its own stop. Madrid's central location, accessible air connections, and a wide-ranging program could appeal to not only Spanish players but also a substantial international crowd. This inaugural event won't just be another festival in the calendar. One of the eleven winners will also etch their name in history as the first WSOP Circuit champion on Spanish soil.
