Aside from forming the final nine of the $10K Main Event, who are now taking a well-deserved break until the grand finale scheduled for August 3rd to 5th, three new champions have emerged in recent hours.
Johnny Oshana claimed his maiden gold bracelet by dominating a massive 11,000-player field in the $500 Gladiators of Poker event, while Yanting Jiang turned her birthday ride in the $3K Mid-Stakes Championship into a title and a million-dollar prize. Ori Hasson took home his second career bracelet in the turbo $1,500 The Closer event.
Anderson to Chase a Third Title This Summer in Extra Day
Eleven hours of play in Day 3 did not determine a winner in Event #94: $10K NLH 6-Handed Championship, and the victor will be revealed in an extra added day.
From the original field of 558 entries, only four players remain in the hunt for the title, led confidently by Bulgaria's Fahredin Mustafov. He bagged a massive stack of over 11 million chips, positioning himself favorably to claim his third gold bracelet and the $1,001,391 prize.
The path to victory, however, will be extremely challenging as Mustafov faces heavyweights of the poker world. American legend David Peters occupies second place, while Calvin Anderson charges from third, aiming for his eighth career bracelet and a unique third title in the current season.
Completing the quartet is Lithuania's Dominykas Mikolaitis, who survived critical moments at the end of the day and remains a force to be reckoned with, thanks to a successful all-in in the last hand of the evening.

Star-Studded Battle for POY
Event #97: $25K H.O.R.S.E. High Roller offers the series' final high-buy-in. This attracted elite names, resulting in 109 entries and a prize pool exceeding $2.5 million. After the opening day, 64 players remain, led by Chino Rheem. Rheem, who finished second earlier this year in the $2,500 NLH event, is once again vying for his first bracelet.
The real drama, however, is unfolding in the race for the Player of the Year title. Defending champion Shaun Deeb registered for the tournament just 10 minutes after busting from the Main Event in 15th place.
Though Deeb lost his first bullet in Stud against Daniel Negreanu, he built up a stack of 370,000 chips after re-entry. His direct competitors in the POY ranking, Naoya Kihara (383,000) and Alex Foxen (347,000), are close on his heels.
Other stars like Daniel Negreanu (345,000), Eli Elezra (389,000), Benny Glaser (227,000), and Brian Rast (220,000) also secured their spots.

Seidel and Mizrachi on the Offensive
From an initial field of 892 entries in Event #96: $3K PLO 6-Handed, only 18 finalists remain in the fight for the title and $407,137. The second playing day was dominated by three-time bracelet winner Christopher Vitch, who was the only one to surpass the 4 million chip mark.
However, the final day will see an immense challenge from legends, as 10-time champion Erik Seidel and 5-time victor Robert Mizrachi are in the top five. The likes of Alex Livingston and Sam Soverel are also still in the mix.
Conversely, Brazilian beauty Vivian Saliba exited the tournament in 44th place, along with Sean Winter, Alex Foxen, and Klemens Roiter.

Event #95: $500 Summer Saver concluded its Day 1b flight with 3,208 entries, bringing the total number of registrations to 4,622, with the prize pool reaching nearly $1.9 million.
A total of 626 players advanced to the second day. Dominating the overall standings are the duo of Ryan Stiner (Day 1a winner) and Michael Danley (Day 1b winner).
The second flight saw participation from several elite names, and those securing spots in Day 2, which is also the final day, include David Prociak, Blaz Zerjav, Ryan Riess, and Maria Konnikova.
