First Main Event Winner from Ukraine
Event #28: $5,000 WSOP Online Main Event saw a staggering 6,008 registrations, creating a total prize pool of $28,538,000, marking the second-largest Main Event in WSOP Online history.
Nine top players advanced to the final day, with Ukrainian player Andrii Novak leading as the chipleader. The final table showdown lasted over three and a half hours, with Germany's Simon Beckmann joining Novak in the heads-up finale.
Beckmann entered the final showdown with a lead of more than 2.5:1, but Novak made a stunning comeback, capitalizing on his opponent's misstep. Beckmann went all-in with Q d 5 d, and Novak called with A d K c. The board revealed 2 d J c 4 hT hA h, securing Novak's lead, which he maintained to victory.
In the decisive hand, Beckmann moved all-in with Q h 7 h against Novak's A dJ h. A flop with an ace confirmed Novak's win, earning him $3,931,259, a gold bracelet, and a $30,000 Super Pass to WSOP Paradise.

Heartbreak for Daniel Negreanu
Event #29: $25K High Roller Championship was one of the most-watched tournaments of the series, mainly due to the participation of Poker Hall of Famer Daniel Negreanu, who reached the final table and aimed for his 9th career WSOP bracelet. Negreanu streamed the entire final day live on his YouTube channel.
The Canadian star entered the 9-player final table from the third spot and initially rose to the top by eliminating Parahat Nurmuhammedov.
A pivotal and unlucky moment for Negreanu came with four players remaining. Chipleader Casimir Seire from Finland went all-in with 9 c 8 d, and Negreanu quickly called with T h T d. The flop A d 9 h 6 c kept him ahead, but the turn 8 s gave Seire a second pair, and the river K c confirmed Negreanu's elimination in 4th place.
Seire then eliminated Erwann Pecheux and hit quads in the final heads-up against Fabiano Kovalski, securing a gold bracelet, $906,647 in winnings, and a $30,000 Super Pass to WSOPP.
Well, we are playing some good poker.

Not so sure this guy understood that DNegs is not going to make ICM folds here, but alas! 😂
86% chance to have a big chip lead.
On to the next!
Will fire up the stream again in about an hour folks and engage with chat. https://t.co/MYqtodzvMK
