Nedelcu Misses Out on Second Bracelet Again

The highly anticipated four-card tournament, Event #18: $5K PLO Championship, attracted a total of 327 entries, pushing the prize pool to $1,553,250. The top 45 players reached the money, including notable names like 2025 WSOP Main Event champion Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi (13th place), Rodrigo Selouan, and Espen Myrmo.

The title and his first-ever WSOP gold bracelet were claimed by Swedish player Max Stenberg. Stenberg entered the seven-handed final table as the chipleader and eventually defeated Romanian bracelet holder Narcis-Gabriel Nedelcu in the heads-up finale.

In addition to the bracelet and $282,125 prize, Stenberg secured an exclusive $30K Super Pass for the upcoming WSOP Paradise Championship in the Bahamas.

Aleksandr Kropotov Dominates Final Table in Mystery Millions

The massive Event #17: $250 Mystery Millions saw an astonishing 47,792 entries, resulting in a total prize pool of $10,993,540.

A total of 4,083 players advanced to the second day, competing for Mystery Bounty prizes. The coveted $1,000,000 envelope went to a German player known as "DrAvocado," who finished 169th and collected $2,077 for his placement.

The final table was nothing short of a showcase for Russian player Aleksandr Kropotov, under the alias sasha1317!. He displayed remarkable dominance, eliminating seven out of his eight opponents at the final table.

In the heads-up duel, he defeated Canadian contender Jessica Moors, securing a $631,459 haul including bounties, a gold bracelet, and a $30K Super Pass for WSOP Paradise.

Lex Veldhuis Returns to WSOP Final Table After Years

Event #14: $1,500 Super Turbo Bounty PLO attracted 721 entries, pushing the prize pool to $1,027,425. A total of 84 players made it to the money, including names like Niklas Astedt, Pavel Plesuv, Renan Bruschi, and Tom Vogelsang.

The highlight of this final table was the presence of popular Dutch streamer Lex Veldhuis, who now resides in Costa Rica. This marked Veldhuis' first WSOP final table appearance since 2009, when he finished seventh in a $40K event in Las Vegas.

Veldhuis improved his best WSOP finish but eventually bowed out in 5th place, earning $41,465.

The tournament champion was Finnish PLO specialist Kai Lehto, who defeated Cyprus' "Cursed79" in the heads-up battle. Lehto claimed a total prize of $147,225, his first WSOP gold bracelet, and a $30K Super Pass for WSOP Paradise.
