An Upgrade to Poker Paradise in Baha Mar

The move to Baha Mar is seen by many as a significant upgrade. This resort is no stranger to the poker world, having hosted prestigious events like the PS Caribbean Adventure (PCA) and PS Championship (PSPC) in 2023. Beyond top-notch poker, players can look forward to breathtaking surroundings, including 10 pools, an award-winning golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus, and more than 40 restaurants, bars, and lounges.

The festival, a result of close collaboration between GGPoker, WSOP, and Triton Poker, has yet to release the complete schedule for 2026. However, the benchmark from previous years is incredibly high. Last year’s Super Main Event literally made history, surpassing the $60 million guarantee and generating a record prizepool of $72,275,000 thanks to 2,891 entries.

Last Chance for Player of the Year Title

This year, WSOP Paradise 2026 carries a special significance with the updated WSOP Player of the Year competition. This prestigious leaderboard contest now includes all three major series: WSOP in Las Vegas, WSOP Europe, and the final WSOP Paradise.

For players, it's a season-long challenge to compete for shares of $1 million, with the overall winner earning not just the prestigious title but also a WSOP Paradise Package worth $100,000. As WSOP Paradise is the last event of the year, it serves as the ultimate finale and final opportunity for the world’s best players to secure leaderboard points and cement their place in history.

Ty Stewart, WSOP’s executive director, stated that the new vision aims to unify the main series and create a true global season, culminating in the Bahamas to offer the biggest stage in the poker world. More details on specific tournaments and guarantees are expected to be released during the year.
