Mini Main Event: 1,425 Entries, Guarantee Nearly Doubled
The opening ring was awarded in the Mini Main Event (270CHF+30CHF) with a 200,000CHF guarantee—and it was clear from the flights that it would far exceed expectations. The tournament ended with 1,425 entries and created a prize pool of 365,512CHF.
215 players returned for the final day, each assured of a minimum cash of 600CHF. As the tournament progressed to the last three tables, it was the Swiss who dominated—and the final stages followed suit.
Five of the nine final table seats were held by Swiss players, bringing a medal sweep for the country. Ultimately, the first ring of the series went to Pascal Sturzenegger, who defeated Pedram Khodapras in the decisive heads-up. The runner-up took home 36,670CHF, while the champion earned 56,192CHF.
