The largest and most expensive tournament in Triton SHRS history has reached its final stage. The record-breaking Event #10: $200K NLH Triton Invitational at South Korea's Les A Casino saw 173 entries, pushing the prize pool to a staggering $34,600,000.
Today, only the final 16 players return, each guaranteed a minimum prize of $460,000. However, the winner will take home $7,250,000 and a prestigious trophy.
Leading the way as the chipleader is China's Yang Wang. He is followed by Germany's Hannes Jeschka and French player Emilien Pitavy. However, the poker world's eyes are mainly on Spanish phenomenon Adrian Mateos, who is aiming for a sensational back-to-back victory in two consecutive Invitational tournaments after his triumph in Montenegro.
Austrian Matthias Eibinger is in the hunt for his eighth Triton title, while the lineup also includes Jesse Lonis, Joao Simao, Biao Ding, and Seth Davies.
